Description |
Corkscrew with metal propeller silver plated known as “the housewife” realized for the Christofle house. This corkscrew was very popular very long the XIX and XXème century. The wings of these corkscrews could have different forms. One can see on the side of the open cage a punch announcing that it is about a plating silver and the name Christofle underlined of two waves. It should be noted that many specimens were manufactured by Jacques Pérille then these wire (initial J-P), Adolphe Pecquet (initial AP) or by Jean Boué (initial JB). |
